From a plan to a booked member visit

  1. 1

    Create the plan

Set monthly or annual pricing, member discounts, priority on the calendar, and how many visits are included each period.

  2. 2

    Enroll the customer

The office can enroll them, or send a login-free link so an existing customer joins themselves.

  3. 3

    Let Stripe collect renewals

Members pay automatically on your connected account. Receipts and renewals stay on the membership.

  4. 4

    Book the visit yourself

When they need service, schedule the job as usual. The membership does not put recurring visits on the calendar.

Example: A maintenance plan that still needs a booked visit

James Thompson joins an annual water-heater maintenance plan from a login-free link. Stripe bills the renewal. When he is due, the office still books Tuesday morning on the shared calendar and covers the included visit on the invoice.

Monthly or annual plans on your Stripe account

Sell memberships with member discounts, priority scheduling, and included visits. Members pay automatically through Stripe on your connected account, with renewals and receipts included. Selling memberships requires Stripe Connect.

Cover included visits and watch retention

When a member uses an included visit, cover it on the invoice so the job still has a clear record. Reports help you see renewals and members who may be at risk. Memberships do not auto-schedule recurring jobs; you still book the visit.

Questions owners ask before they sell a plan

Does selling memberships require Stripe Connect?
Yes. Recurring billing runs on your connected Stripe account. You cannot sell memberships without that setup.
Does a membership auto-schedule the visits?
No. You still book each visit. Priority shows as a badge on the calendar; it does not auto-dispatch a technician.
How does an included visit affect the invoice?
You apply the included visit on the invoice so that service line is covered. Remaining lines can still take the member discount.
Can the customer manage the membership without an account?
Yes. Existing customers can enroll, update payment, or cancel from a login-free link. The office can also enroll them.
