Terms of Service

Last updated: May 4, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and True Blue Service (“True Blue Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your access to and use of True Blue Service’s field service management software, websites, mobile web experience, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity, in which case “you” and “your” refer to that entity.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your business email, company name, and billing details.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • Admin users may invite, suspend, or remove other users within their company. Admins are responsible for their team’s use of the Service.

2. Subscriptions, Billing, and Taxes

  • The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Fees, billing cycles, and included features are shown at the time you subscribe.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until the subscription is cancelled.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from Account › Plan & Billing.
  • Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods.
  • Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your purchase, other than taxes based on our income.
  • We may change subscription fees from time to time. We will give you advance notice of any material price change, and the new price will apply at the start of your next billing period unless you cancel.

3. Free Trials and Beta Features

We may offer free trials, discounted introductory periods, or beta features. Beta features are provided “as-is,” may be changed or removed at any time, and may have additional terms that we will surface in-product.

4. Your Data

“Customer Data” means the data you or your users submit to the Service, including customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, payments, notes, attachments, and data synced from integrations you connect.

  • As between you and us, you own your Customer Data. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display the Customer Data solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service for you.
  • You represent that you have all rights and consents necessary to submit the Customer Data to the Service and that your use of the Service does not violate any third party rights or applicable law.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the Customer Data.

Our handling of personal information in Customer Data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to, and not to permit anyone else to:

  • Use the Service to violate any law, regulation, or third party right.
  • Upload malware, conduct penetration testing without our prior written consent, or otherwise interfere with the Service’s security or integrity.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a standalone hosting or managed service without our prior written consent.
  • Use the Service to send unlawful communications, including SMS or email that does not comply with applicable laws such as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Act, or similar laws in your jurisdiction.
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service in ways not authorized by our documentation or API rate limits.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this Section, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

6. Third-Party Services and Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party products such as QuickBooks Online (Intuit), Stripe, Twilio SendGrid, and Twilio messaging services. Your use of those third-party products is governed by each provider’s own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party products, and a third party may change or discontinue its product or API at any time.

When you connect a third-party integration, you authorize us to access and exchange data with that third-party service on your behalf strictly to provide the integration you enabled.

7. Communications from the Service

The Service sends transactional messages that are necessary to operate your account (for example, verification emails, password resets, invoice notifications, and invitations). You cannot opt out of transactional messages while your account is active. If we add marketing messages in the future, they will be opt-in and easy to opt out of.

The True Blue Service transactional SMS program may send service-related text messages such as appointment confirmations, reminders, technician arrival updates, job status updates, estimate notifications, invoice notifications, and payment reminders. Message frequency varies based on your use of the Service and your customers’ jobs. Message and data rates may apply.

Recipients can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages and HELP for help. For support, contact support@trueblueservice.app. If you use the Service to send SMS or other messages to your own customers, you are solely responsible for obtaining any required consents, maintaining accurate phone numbers and opt-out records, and ensuring the content of those messages complies with applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, interfaces, text, graphics, logos, and documentation, is owned by True Blue Service or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to access and use the Service during your subscription, solely for your internal business purposes.

Feedback you provide about the Service is non-confidential, and you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use it to improve the Service.

9. Suspension and Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from Account › Plan & Billing. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not retroactively refund previously paid periods.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, if your account is involved in suspected fraud or abuse, or if continuing to provide the Service would create a legal or security risk.
  • We may also discontinue the Service entirely with reasonable advance notice, in which case we will provide a pro-rata refund for any paid, unused subscription period.
  • After termination, we retain and delete data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any data will be accurate or preserved without loss.

True Blue Service is not an accountant, tax advisor, or legal advisor. Information presented in the Service — for example, invoice totals or sync status with QuickBooks Online — is provided as a convenience and does not substitute for professional advice or independent verification.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will True Blue Service, its affiliates, or their respective officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenues, lost business, or lost data, arising out of or related to the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim and (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless True Blue Service from and against any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to (a) your Customer Data, (b) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, or (c) communications you send to your own customers through or in reliance on the Service.

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved through good-faith negotiation will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, an in-app notice or email to account administrators). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms means you accept the updates.

15. Miscellaneous

  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order form or in-product disclosure referenced here, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
  • Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
  • You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our assets.
