Housecall Pro Import Guide

Use the Housecall Pro source for customer, job, invoice, estimate, and pricebook exports. Housecall Pro often stores service address information directly on the customer or job rows.

Import notes

These notes explain how this source is handled before you review the final mappings.

Things to know

  • There is no separate locations step for normal Housecall Pro imports.
  • Display-name cleanup is source-specific.
  • Estimate value columns can vary by report.

Imported when available

  • Customer names
  • Addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Job history
  • Billing totals

Not imported

  • Unsupported report-only rollups
  • Empty rows

Pick the import type

Pick the matching source first, then choose the import type shown below. You can still review and adjust the column mapping before saving records. The names in the picker match the in-app import tool.

Customers

Choose Customers

Required

  • Display name, customer name, company, or email

Recommended

  • Phone
  • Mobile
  • Billing address

Notes

  • Display names are split into first and last name when possible.

Jobs

Choose Jobs

  • Customer identity
  • Job date, address, description, or amount

Notes

  • Inline addresses allow jobs to import without a separate locations file.

Invoices

  • Due amount can be used when total amount is not available.
